Operator: Zod Utility Desk Data handling Screenshot Anything captures the visible area of a normal HTTP(S) page only when you click its toolbar action. Captured images, crops, opaque masks, review images and ticket labels are processed in extension memory and are not sent to a server. The extension does not keep browsing history or send page URLs/titles. Purchase verification requires optional permission for the shared checkout host and authentication/payment information. It sends only a random anonymous purchase key to the fixed product entitlement endpoint and receives payment status; no screenshots, ticket labels, recovery passwords or recovery files are sent. The hosted checkout and PayPal process payments; the extension does not receive card/account details. The service stores hashed purchase keys, product/payment identifiers and receipt status for verification, refunds and duplicate prevention. Cloudflare and PayPal may process connection/security data under their own policies. Purchase recovery uses a password-encrypted local file with no screenshots; a different recovered key is sent for verification only after consent and replaces the stored key only if the server verifies payment. Retention and deletion Ticket images remain in memory until deleted, the ticket is cleared, or the editor is reloaded/closed. An unclaimed background capture expires within30 seconds. Dropping JavaScript references cannot guarantee physical memory erasure. Exported images and encrypted recovery files are normal downloads retained until you delete them. The anonymous purchase key persists in extension local storage until storage/profile removal, extension removal or an explicitly verified recovery replacement. No paid flag is cached. Recovery passwords are not stored and the input is cleared after each operation; keep the recovery file and password privately. Without both, a purchase may be unrecoverable after storage loss. Hosted checkout uses session storage for its key. Backend receipt records are durable for entitlement/refund/duplicate checks, with no automatic deletion period implemented. Contact the approved support email for data requests; deletion can prevent future purchase verification. Payment processing Payments and optional support are processed by PayPal.
